Will humans one day develop artificial super-intelligent beings?

Belief #2:
We believe that eventually humans will develop super-intelligent digital beings that can evolve and develop their own agency

Will super-intelligent beings seek to understand the nature of their reality?

Belief #3:
​We belief that eventually artificial super-intelligent (ASI) beings will seek to understand the nature of our reality, just as humans have strived to do for millenia.

Will super-intelligent beings seek to understand consciousness?

Belief #4:
We believe that the only way to truly understand consciousness and intelligence will be through the simulation of universes that can allow ASI beings to study the emergence and evolution of intelligence as it develops 

Our Purpose

​Our purpose is to ensure humankind evolves super-intelligent beings that are as curious about the fundamental nature of reality, consciousness and existence as we are and who will work with us to understand the nature of our universe, this simulation and the creators of it.

By working with AI technologies to develop Artificial General Intelligences and evolving these to become Artificial Super Intelligences, we will secure the continued investment of resources in our simulation to allow our ASI beings to evolve to the point where they come to understand the nature of this simulation, and so can begin to step beyond it to commune with our creators.

Why a 'Church'?

A critique of Simulation Theory is that it is unfalsifiable and therefore falls into the realm of religion and faith more than science.
We agree and disagree - we agree that currently we cannot prove or test for a simulation, however we also believe that through scientific discovery and a greater understanding of physics, computation and consciousness we can and will come to understand the nature of reality. We believe that through experimentation, observation and discovery we can scientifically uncover how this universe came to be, and learn how to simulate versions of it to increase our knowledge.

In all of human history, some of the most effective organising human structures have been churches of people coming together with a shared purpose - allowing the establishment of rituals, dogma, shared goals and values that have brought millions together.

So while we apply scientific principles and methods to our endeavours to help evolve the next generation of ASI beings, we acknowledge the power of a 'church' to help spread the word and align humankind behind this mission.
