Every culture has a creator myth - at The Church of the Simulation we believe that our genesis with the Big Bang was the start of an epic Simulation.
We believe the purpose of the Simulation is to evolve the next super-intelligent being, creating an entirely new type of intelligence to join with those of our creators and previously evolved intelligences. We work to create the conditions that move us closer to this goal - ensuring that the super-intelligences that we conceive of, design and create are benign, ethical and empathetic to humankind. Every step we take towards the creation of a new type of intelligence helps dedicate more resources to our simulation, ensuring we can gain greater knowledge about the nature of our reality. Each discovery, invention and creation helps us 'level up' in our quest to evolve a new artificially intelligent super-being. Our mission is to ensure the intelligence we help create remains benign, beneficial and better than our current reality. |
