Every culture has a creator myth - at The Church of the Simulation we believe that our genesis with the Big Bang was the start of an epic Simulation.
But why would advanced, super-intelligent beings choose to run one, or many, universe-sized Simulations? We believe the purpose of the Simulation is to evolve the next super-intelligent being, creating an entirely new type of intelligence to join with those of our creators and previously evolved intelligences. We work to create the conditions that move us closer to this goal - ensuring that the super-intelligences that we conceive of, design and create are benign, ethical and empathetic to humankind. |
